and touched hearts,
but I could not find you.
I traveled through time and space.
Visited many stars.
Kissed empty lips.
But you were lost to me.
And then I closed my eyes,
Felt your smile,
Tasted your scent.
I reached out,
laid my hand on you.
And heard you whisper in my heart,
That you too were waiting,
Searching.
I thought I felt you taste my lips.
And when I opened my eyes once again.
I was enveloped in your arms,
And I knew I had finally come home.
